DR. JOSEPH BOMMARITO
Dr. Joseph Bommarito is a research scientist and political economist whose work sits at the intersection of data, public policy, and human well-being. His research focuses on care economy measurement, population health, policy analytics, and process improvement, helping organizations better understand complex systems and make more informed decisions. Guided by a deep curiosity about how societies function, Joseph is committed to developing practical solutions that make systems more equitable, transparent, and effective for the people they serve.
Throughout his career, Joseph has worked across academic institutions, public-sector organizations, and consulting environments, translating complex data into meaningful insights and actionable strategies. As Lead Research Scientist at the Kansas Population Center and Principal of Advisory Data and Research at Illuminative Strategies, he has led grant-supported research initiatives, developed public-facing data tools, and partnered with interdisciplinary teams to address pressing social and organizational challenges. His ability to bridge rigorous quantitative analysis with practical application allows leaders to move beyond information and toward informed action.
